Description of ๐ŸŽ MAYiT Horse Tendon Boots (4pcs- Front & Hind), PU Shell Tendon Fetlock Brace Guard Boots for Riding - Shock Absorbing Jumping Competition Protection

Material: PU + Neoprene, anatomically formed and shaped to ensure a perfect fit to the horses leg. The inner lining of the boots is a doulbe thickness neoprene that is covered with a soft jersey material to ensure ultimate comfort for the horse and reduce chances or rubbing and chafing - even when worn for long periods. The tendon boots have two 5cm wide velcro straps set on double thickness elastic to secure the boots and stop them slipping, sliding and twisting. Open front allows to move freely on high-speed activities like jumping and running. The horse leg boots protect the horse's leg from injury or reduces the damage when the horse jumps over the obstacle.

Worked great for my horse

My horse is taller and not too fine - 16.3 hh Zangersheide WB. Big is perfect for him. Everything else he wears oversized and a size 83 blanket. I think they can run big as they fit him perfectly. I would downsize for a medium sized horse or TB.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Short instructions

Don't buy this. for Boots & Wraps

VERY thin. The straps are slipping. The horse stamped its foot and slipped around its hoof. I pulled to the last hole. She stamped again and he fell around her hoof again. I think it might suit a very balanced or sleepy horse. But none of these conditions lend themselves to the good conditions that would require show jumping boots.

Dangerous and ill fitting

I had high hopes when I bought these boots as they are high quality at a really great price. However, when I put them on my horse for lunging, the rear boots slipped onto his hooves as soon as he started to trot, causing him to panic and start kicking. If I had been there when it happened, I would definitely have fallen. I spoke to a friend who bought the same boots and they said they had the same problem. The front boots were also very narrow and didn't match his ankles very well. I do notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost never

Appreciate the price and quality but need more size options

Pretty good quality boots and I was hopeful when I saw the medium and large sizes for options as the horse market has given up both color options seems size options for horse boots. It was a game and I lost. The mediums were still too tall (too long/tall) for my mare (15.0 hands) and luckily I have another horse (15.0 hands) and they fit me. I'm just really frustrated with the lack of download options when there were too many options a few years ago. I will say that I have a black and blue Mโ€ฆ
