I thought it was a matte color but it is transparent with a frosty color (difficult to photograph but I tried) comes in 2 parts directly onto the sleeve pressed. One side slides over the keyboard in tablet mode, the sticky foils on the bottom to keep them in place. I decorated mine with stickers. I can't believe nobody has done this before. GOOD NEWS It will work. You can fold the bottom over and it covers the buttons! I was a bit unsure about purple as some photos from other customers look more light pink and others darker purple. I am pleased to announce that I have received the dark purple.

I've been looking for a long time for a case to fit my Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB (see the model number on the back of laptops next to the Windows sticker) and it was the only hard cover -Case that I was able to find for a reasonable price.
