Gasket/rubber not thick enough

The pump was great and worked great but the rubber gasket that went into the tank was a different story. The original gasket was almost twice as thick as the new one and this caused a leak around the pump and tank once we filled it with fluid. I had to remove the pump and put in the old seal and apply some pool pump seal lube to ensure a good seal and prevent leakage. 2014 Kia Sedona EX

Fits but low flow/head

It was a good deal back then as the original part was very expensive, but now it's only $5 off, not worth it. There are two main disadvantages. First of all, he just isn't strong enough. The liquid does not spray well and only reaches the center of the windshield. Second, this pump uses tiny orifices instead of an inlet strainer. It clogs up much more easily and seems to impede flow. It died on me and I just put the right part in and it's day and night.

Cheap and easy installation.

Installed this a few months ago on my wife's 2014 Veloster Turbo to replace a factory one that cracked after 2 years and hasn't had a single drop of fluid on my garage floor since. I first took the car to the dealer to have it replaced under warranty, but after the dealer didn't respond for weeks and saw that this Revain pump was under $15, I decided it wasn't worth buying mess around changed at the dealer and myself. It was a simple plug and play setup after sliding the right front innerโ€ฆ

Not so good compared to OEM

This product fits directly onto my Hyundai Tiburon 2004 2.0L 4 cylinder. However, I had a few questions as to why I would recommend an OEM part instead. First off, the rubber grommet that comes with it is almost too small to fit securely in the washer fluid reservoir. Seems like it will cause a leak, especially with multiple uses. Aside from comparing the OEM intake duct to this one, there is one big difference. The OEM allows more liquid to flow into the pump, so you get more atomizationโ€ฆ

DON'T WASTE TIME WITH THIS

At first glance this pump looks like it will work. But in my case I found that the bushing that came with the kit was too thin. It was leaking and I smeared it with RTV to seal it, but I found it still had drips on it. I also noticed that the power plug was a bit oversized. the more i looked at it. It turned out to be just a copy, and not a very good one. I ended up ordering the whole lock and barrel from a Kia dealer online for $70 with shipping. It included hoses, a pump, a new tank and aโ€ฆ
