It really worked I have to admit I was skeptical I thought it might be a soft short flame but it was much brighter and longer than I expected would have. They have a slight odor as soon as you open them and you can't roast marshmallows or other foods on fire, but it's perfect for a romantic setting.

Bought for some fun at our outdoor Thanksgiving. Everyone took turns throwing one at a time, and we looked at the colors, but even one at a time while we were all wearing masks, the smoke made us cough. I suppose if it were summer and you didn't have to go near the fire it wouldn't be a problem, but four feet wasn't enough.

I originally thought they were multicolored but so far they are all blue. Where is green or bright red? The rest is very neat. Children and adults groaned and gasped. They last a lot longer than you would expect depending on the heat of the fire, I've seen them still produce colors after 20-30 minutes.

Absolutely awesome product! The only problem is that the blue flames don't last very long, so I went through the whole crate in one night. Great for parties! My guests were just as excited as I was. I would probably buy again, but would be happy if the company lowered the price on these tiny pinecones OR made larger pinecones that would last longer.

I bought this product on 29th November and received it a few days later. Fast delivery! When I opened the box I was a bit disappointed. Pine cones are small. BUT don't let the size fool you! These little things create vibrant colors. It creates blue, turquoise, light purple, and green flames when thrown into the fire. These pine cones last about 10-15 minutes. Mystic Flame of Fire is cheaper, but it comes in one package, and you threw the entire package into the fire pit. Good product!

I love how they light the fire on cold winter nights. I didn't rate them for warmth as they are only there for looks and not for generating heat. I didn't rate them by thickness because they're paint coated pinecones, so I can't say they're "thick". These horns bring back childhood memories where my mother bought something similar when I was growing up that we only used for special occasions. They cheer me up because she passed away a long time ago and I miss her especially during the holidays.
