I have parquet floors and had to constantly move the bed into place. I've never had to move them since I bought them. They keep my bed right where I want it and are very strong.

I bought these to raise a small dresser over a window opening in a small bedroom. A notch in the riser keeps the dressing wheels in place. The return is not blocked, and the chest of drawers is placed under the window. More storage space in a small bedroom.

These 6 inch risers for my bed are great! I just place them under the headboard legs to elevate my torso. Easy to install and they are strong. I have gastrointestinal problems when I'm lying down - this saved me! Stacking pillows for support didn't work. But those loose ends kept me from tossing and turning all night. We recommend!

Foam inserts were not included in my kit. They are needed for a bedside table that doesn't have casters, so without foam inserts they are too unstable to use. They're also difficult to put on as the plastic shelves don't slide at all on the wooden floor so they have to be perfectly aligned before trying to put a bedside table on them and adjusting their position is next to impossible. . Not happy with these at all.

I like the pulleys in the risers but the foundation isn't strong. First I connected the two to close 6". after 2 days i hit the bed on the corner and the whole bed slid off the risers so i went in and took the 3" off to see how it worked. So far this works better but I know I have a cinder block to make sure the bed doesn't fall off. It might have better grip on tile or wood floors, but the carpet is wobbly.

I used this on a heavy 2 inch square foot entertainment center to set my tv to the desired viewing height, it worked great and was a lot cheaper than a metal tv stand. I've used them with full 7 inch extensions. They seem strong and sturdy enough for almost any bed and if I change my bed I'll get another set or two, maybe a queen size captain's rostrum with storage as well as headboard storage. I will modify as needed to allow the socket to sit properly on top of this as the top "lips" can bend
