🟨 Meguiar's DMF6 DA 6-Inch Microfiber Finishing Discs, Pack of 2, White Review

I tried foam pads on my random orbital polisher and while they worked well, durability wasn't their strong suit. These microfiber pads seem to be more durable and my results with them have been just as good as the foam pads but at a lower cost. They also clean up well so I'm sure I can use them for future projects.

After 10 minutes I felt that the machine was working differently, I turn off the polisher, the pad fell off the base and I noticed that it was half split in half. The second pad held up well, but I expected more than a use or two, waist money

The cutting pad works well but the polishing pad backing pad is not so good. During operation of the polisher on the 5th setting, the corners of the pad bent and cracked the foam. Without the pad cover, the velcro polisher scratched the car's paintwork. It was only worse when using the car for the first time. Not worth the high price. There are others that are much cheaper but of better quality.

I really like these Meguiar DMF6 abrasive pads. I'm new to all this and after the first use I was very disappointed with the pads because I couldn't clean them. I used one to apply Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax with my Black & Decker WP900 Orbital and the other to remove it. The first had quite a bit of wax residue. This is the first time I've been disappointed with a Meguiar product and I've used many of them. I did a simple coupe polish with a Rupes LHR21 II "Bigfoot" polisher on speed 3 and Mequire polish. About halfway through the machine, the disc cut through the backing pad.
