We have a boys version of the outfit and we got this version from Sophia as a birthday present for a 5 year old. She was delighted. They are so well made and easy for kids to use.

Melissa and Doug don't need to upgrade this or similar items. The cut character is too bold. Magnetic parts should be stronger. You can't even overlay if you want.

Bought these for our 5 year old granddaughter. They entertain her for hours so we bought two more sets. The paper dolls I played with as a kid are long gone! We recommend.

My 3 year old loves this toy. She got it for her birthday and plays with it every day. There are multiple pieces, so it can be tedious to keep track of them at times. However, the toy holds her attention for a while and she is eager to show us her creations.

Although the 3 year old was initially delighted with what she saw and played with the high quality item a bit, upon opening she was played with very quickly and not bored anymore . She could have been over 2 years old. She preferred a similar article that contained less and significantly more detail.
