This watch is very durable, definitely galvanized or static painted as the color is the same as I received with no signs of fading. It keeps time very well and since it is hand-wound, you never have to buy batteries for it. Be sure to keep it away from water as rust can be destructive in such a complex device.

The only thing I don't like is that the lid on the front of the varch is very difficult to open. Otherwise it's a nice watch with multiple chains, easy to set the time and easy to wind.

Got this for my son as a Christmas present, he doesn't really like watches. But he takes the watch with him every day, he never forgets to wind it up, he has a photo of his late mother in the watch. It's just the perfect size for everyday use. Now he wants to start a collection of pocket watches, I think that's because of the quality and durability of the watch and how easy it is to use

We bought this pocket watch for our 12 year old daughter who loves kites and wanted a pocket watch as a Christmas present. She loves it! We were so excited when we found the dragon pocket watch. It is a very nice watch and looks well made and was such a great price! We are all very happy with our purchase.

Window looks like plastic to me but the one for the face is moving and so I might replace the window. Also, the movement of the hand is a little choppy compared to something like the Orient Bambino Generation 2nd Version 2, but it feels like a 100 Dallor watch. The paint has peeled off in a small spot, but that doesn't bother me. All in all a very nice watch for the price. I like to watch moving parts

Got this as an anniversary present for my boyfriend who doesn't like watches and he loves them. It was a little tricky figuring out how to attach the chain so having a clue on how to attach it would be great. Otherwise excellent workmanship. One helper has a design, and on the other side (back) there is enough space for a small picture! A bit like the old days, you know.

Firstly the watch arrived fairly quickly and I was very surprised to see that it arrived in less than two days. When opened, there is a cleaning cloth, several instructions and two types of chains. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it looked exactly as pictured on the Revain product page. It's a nice weight and the color is really pretty (I ordered bronze and it wasn't too flashy or bright). The only thing is that it can be a bit difficult to open the watch when you push the crown…
