👞 Black Leather Men's Mephisto Edlef Loafer Shoes Review

I bought these slippers for my husband a few years ago. He has flat feet and needs special insoles. The supplied insoles are better than orthotics! He says they are so comfortable he can't believe it! I bought them for him for Christmas. The last time I bought them from Nordstrom, he bought a lot of Mephistopheles there. I was able to buy the slippers he loves at a greatly reduced price on Amazon!

Mephisto is my favorite brand of shoes because I've always found them very comfortable. These loafers suit me, they are simple but professional and just as comfortable as my previous models. It's a little more expensive, but money well spent!

Style and comfort come together in this durable, comfortable shoe. I discovered this model in 2009 and bought a pair of brown and black sneakers. My wife loves the style and I love the fit. I wore them alternately as main shoes at work for 4 years. I just replaced my black pair and the top of the brown pair was re-sewn with my right pinky a year ago to give it new life for a year or two. Casual or formal, these are great casual shoes for any occasion.

I chose my European size and the same size I wear for Mephisto in many other models. This one was probably too big for life size. It appears to be well made and of the usual Mephisto quality. Reduce the size if you want to try this model.

I'm a size 12 American wide shoe. The 'M' fits perfectly. A little narrow in width, but only for a few days. Afterwards pure comfort for many years. They are elegant but comfortable. If your foot/arch needs strong support, others may be more appropriate. Otherwise you can't go wrong here.

Husband reports good comfort, fit etc BUT there was no postal sticker in the box to send shoes in need of repair to Mephisto which made me wonder if it was a fake. My recently purchased Mephisto women's shoes (from Zappos) had this tag. Anyone have any advice?
