Perfect shit. - Outdoor

I want these. They look cool, they're comfortable. I've worn them for hours walking through cities and bumpy roads and they've been great. However, after a few weeks of use, they wear out. Parts of the rubber lining fall off. You can also see that they are cheaply made, slightly asymmetrical, just plain poor quality. Not what I expected from Merrel.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • I don't remember

Disappointed: Hiking & Trekking

Merrell shoes fit me perfectly. The problem with them is that even when they're new, they already seem flimsy. Now that I've broken them, I've noticed a bulge or bulge in the foam/sole of the right shoe, which is uncomfortable after prolonged wear. I'm not a fan of flat laces anymore. All in all I wouldn't buy them again and won't keep them for very long. A little disappointing. I really like my new Cham 7 wp Merrell, they are great shoes. These are not very good.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great shoe for the price

I liked this shoe and will buy another one. I read a few reviews before buying it and some consumers said it wasn't strong enough. it is not true. This is a very light version of Merrell's. I walked about 17,000 steps a day in Paris for 5 days in these shoes and am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Looks good but is uncomfortable

This is a very well constructed shoe that looks great as an alternative to trainers or sneakers. But it has very little support or padding and that was after I put an orthotic in it. If you're looking for shoes for regular walks or even hikes, then this isn't it. The Merrill Moab hiking shoes were more comfortable than this one.

Great shoes - Merrell is always on top.

These are comfortable shoes and the size is as expected. I wear these often in winter and they hold up great (Merrell brand). My only concern is the elastic on the toe box, it hasn't fully come off yet but I expect it will rip or detach from the shoe long before the rest of the shoe wears out. Otherwise there are no complaints.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Outdoor Shoe Style Hiking Shoes

Love the fact that they have a lace that stays snug. I chose these shoes because I was tired of hiking and the look of sneakers and wanted something more like a dress that offered comfort. I'm glad that Merrell seems to have expanded on its design.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Clarity

Good casual shoes best for hiking and trekking

I love them as casual shoes but it's hard to call them hiking shoes. As another reviewer mentioned, the mesh feels like faux mesh, so not only are these shoes low on heat dissipation; no problem as a casual shoe, but hiking in hot weather would not be the best option. Pros: great looks, light weight, comfortable Cons: poor ventilation, laces not the best. Update 09/13/19: Watch out for slippery floors when wet. I've found them to resemble ice skates in stores and restaurants.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are new competitors

New CHEAP design

This review is for quality only. There would be one star if the shoes didn't look and fit as well. The first pair of these shoes was great, they are back in 2019. They have held up very well. I work hard jobs and they lasted me about a year. I ordered another pair and they arrived a little differently. I did not think about that. After using this new pair for a WEEK, the rubber toe cap on the front and sides started to peel off. CHEAP. Dissatisfied. They obviously changed the glue and other…
