My sons tear their shoes like crazy. Especially now that even the traditionally "reliable" and "high quality" shoe companies (I'm looking at you, Nike and Adidas!) are producing crap shoes, especially for kids. My boys can easily destroy a pair of Nikes in a week. We've learned that it's far more profitable to spend more money on shoes that last longer, look better for longer, and ultimately are better for my kids' feet. A pair of Brooks might cost $100, but my sons would rather outgrow them…
