Toe box too tight compared to Trail Glove 4

Pictures left to right: Trail Glove 4, Trail Glove 5, Trail Glove 6.TLDR: Trail Glove 6's toe box is much tighter than Trail Glove 4 and slightly narrower than the Trail Glove 5. It's quite disappointing, the Trail Glove 4 is basically a perfect shoe with a big toe cap. I felt the Trail Glove 5 (I hardly wore it) was a step backwards in terms of stiffer arch feel and overall construction. Now when I try the Trail Glove 6 the toe box is quite tight and I want to try another shoe brand, it's…

DISAPPOINTED =[ good for trail running

Not a trail glove (TG) I remember. I wish I could find a TG4 my size again. The TG6 is now too narrow and has too much padding, it's not even zero drop anymore. If I wanted more cushions I would buy another pair of Bare Access. Selling it as GLOVES appears to be false advertising. I really hope Merrell goes back to basics, the TG4 was near perfect.

Pros
  • A little over
Cons
  • Nothing here

Not durable when trail running

Three months of use - aerobics twice a week, and the tread is already coming off. You have to deduct 1 star from them. ---- They have arch support but they don't raise my heel. At first they were a bit tight and digging into my leg near the pinky toe, but they loosened up. high. They're pretty tight around the ankle (to keep rocks out I guess) so just be aware that you have to unlace them a lot more than regular sneakers to put them on.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Doubtful
