Wow, made in Germany!

I can't say a word as I tested it on my Leica and Lumix cameras and it was amazing. I will buy another one to have a backup. My friends are jealous of my new flash and I'm showing off. Made in Germany, that's why.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Exactly what I expected

I bought a Metz MZ 36352OPL TTL flash to use with my Panasonic LX7 Lumix camera. Works as intended. I had no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for TTL flash. Make no mistake with the Metz and the price is right.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons

Good entry level external flash for Micro 4/3

Got this for a Panasonic/Lumix Micro 4/3 camera. There are no manual controls, making it easier to use for those who just want a more powerful flash. More advanced operators will likely want to use the more expensive manual models.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Almost everything

Not bad but no controls ALL

Can't rate it under 3 because it does what it's supposed to do and is well built for the price. Note, however, that there are no manual controls here at all! If you need precise control over your lighting, or want to use it with an umbrella as an external flash, spend a little more and relax elsewhere.

Pros
  • Great selection

Lumix GH2/GH3 built-in flash (2 exclamation marks)

I use it with both GH2 and GH3 cases and it's great! I got this because I needed a flash "right now". I decided to use it until the big flash came back in stock and then put it aside as a backup flash. Instead I just canceled the big flash and got a second 36352 with no battery power. Ideal for stuffing or rebounding. good color I give Metz my warmest praise for that!

Pros

Cons
  • Vanishes

Bought cheap as a spare for my EPL-1 and my GX7. The exposure of both cameras is very good. The only problem I have is the battery cover. If it is not closed perfectly, it will result in a bad connection. After playing around I got it working so I'll leave it at that. The battery compartment is very poorly designed so I will be very careful with it in the future.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Lumix GH2/GH3 built-in flash (2 exclamation marks)

I use this with both GH2 and GH3 cases and it's great! I was looking for a stronger one but it came back - I ordered it so I got this one as I needed a flash "right now". I decided to use it until the big flash came back in stock and then put it aside as a backup flash. Instead I just canceled the big flash and got 36352 per second. Doesn't drain the battery. Great for filling or bouncing. good color I recommend Metz for that, great time!

Excellent flash f--OK with Lumix DMC-FZ50

Lumix DMC-FZ50 TTL compatibility is very hard to find on the first try. It has. I agree with other reviewers that this is a great flash, especially for the money. Its performance has actually exceeded my expectations. It worked well as a remote flash (connected via cable) with a simple softbox. I also agree with other reviewers that this is a great flash for hobbyists, but it doesn't seem reliable enough for professionals. It also lacks manual controls - for me that's not a problem. A five star

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Negative present
