These were the best cables we found. They are colorful and cats don't seem to like chewing on them. They appear to be more durable than unwoven cord. Cats still sometimes carry them, but they don't seem to want to chew them.

Connectors often wear out, loosen, and fail within a year of use (due to their small size) depending on how often you insert the connector into the micro USB port.
