Recommended for my son who was on a business trip. Fits easily in his luggage and works great. It feels flimsy and you might be nervous opening it because it won't dry out after a shower, but it works just as well as a plush towel. Hanging to dry only took a few hours even in a humid climate (rain forest).

I have to admit I was expecting a thick terry towel but it's not. It was my fault for not reading the description! However, I decided to give this microfiber towel a try and I'm so glad I did! It rolls up easily and packs in your beach bag and doesn't absorb as much sand as a traditional towel. It is very lightweight yet absorbent. I am very happy with this purchase!

These towels are great for hiking, camping, traveling or any other place where space is limited. Other than that, they're a bit weird. They don't absorb very well and sand still sticks to them. Maybe less, but still holds up. Especially when it's wet. They offer neither comfort nor padding wherever you lie. They are also slightly more expensive. But it was nice to have more space in the backpack as they don't take up much space!

One thing I really wanted from a beach towel when my family was looking to buy some more was something compact but still large without taking up much space in the package as traditional towels can be so bulky.
