Just a very reliable mouse. All buttons have a pleasant click, without play. The mouse itself is very light, but it's very durable and seems capable of withstanding a car crash. Significantly better than cheaper mice so I would argue that the $40 price tag is fair and still a lot cheaper than overpriced useless Apple products. I really hope Microsoft will continue to release such good peripherals.

I bought this mouse because I wanted a more ergonomic and comfortable mouse. Unfortunately it's not that great. The platform on which the thumb rests is not very comfortable and in my opinion too deeply embedded in the side. In addition, the scroll wheel is not very smooth and the keys have too much resistance. Overall I am not a fan of this mouse and will be sending it back.

The most comfortable mouse I have ever used. The thumb rest and back button are perfect for my hand. The scroll wheel feels great and the scroll acceleration is amazing. The right button seems a bit far forward for my grip, so my muscle memory needs some work. I used to buy the cheapest Microsoft optical mice, 3 at a time. Spare parts, several cars and the like. No longer. This is my new best friend.

Bought to replace a wireless mouse that had connection problems. The design is nice, especially the thumb rest. The only problem I have is that the mouse wheel is quite stiff. It simply adds more resistance to an action that requires more strength and thought. I've improved my Chromebox experience by installing a wheel accelerator, which means I don't have to spin the wheel too hard to move the page. I wish I could, but here it is again. I do not know. This is an expensive mouse so I was willing to toast it in a review if I didn't like it but this mouse is everything I wanted. the size is perfect for me. If you're used to your company's standard workstation mouse, this mouse will be a bit thicker and your hand will rest on it more. Buttons are pressed perfectly.
