I ended up buying this backpack because my son's first backpack wasn't made until a month or two after he started school. We're already through the school year and this thing looks brand new! Easy to wash when needed. Lots of pockets. Great find!

I absolutely loved this backpack; The size is great, everyone loves the design in it except about two weeks after using it in 2nd grade the super comfy handle broke. My son has always carried his bag with an easy-to-use handle, but when it breaks, it's not as big as it used to be. Not even modified to do impromptu work. Super screwed up.

My first grader son loves this backpack but unfortunately the handle that keeps it hanging broke in the first month of use. Carrying all his school stuff still works great and he can still carry it on his back, but our storage system depends on being able to hang it. I'm a bit disappointed with it but my son is still using it so I think it's still serving its purpose. I would like more durability.

The best waterproof backpack! So we bought it for our kindergarten child 3 weeks ago. This really put him to the test as it has been raining heavily lately. My son doesn't really bring anything heavy with him other than a towel, lunch bag and his jacket. I've read some other reviews about the zipper breaking but we didn't. We even attach key fobs to all zippers. Really cool inside and out. I will definitely be buying more for other kids when they go to school. Costs money.
