It is great! I bought it white to paint and was shocked when I opened it. It felt waxy, like the ink wouldn't stick to it. However, this is not the case. Definitely a cool concept, but it didn't hold up very well in my wallet. It didn't fall apart, but began to "roll" almost like a fleece jacket. the wallet didn't look good pretty quickly. As cool as white is, you're probably better off with a colored wallet.

While making your own is a great idea, I've found that the material bleeds with almost all markers (even my Sharpie bled) and if you paint over an area it rolls/tears. In the end I didn't give it such a great gift as I thought it would.
