Description of Military Camping Survival First Blanket

MILITARY BLANKET: Designed to US Military specifications, this blanket is very similar to those issued by the military and speaks to the level quality that they demand. This makes the blanket ideal for outdoor use while on camping or hunting trips. 80% Wool, 20% Man-Made Fibers: This ratio allows for durability without compromising comfort, ensuring that you stay cozy . WARM WOOL COMFORT: Wool blend fabric is both soft and sturdy, trapping in heat to keep you warm and wicking and excess moisture. FIRE RETARDANT: Designed to slow down or stop the spread or intensity of fire, it provides extra safety especially when used near campfires. LARGE SIZE: 64" x 90" means it can be used comfortably even by large and tall persons.

Well that's $30 what do you expect

First of all it's $30 which should tell you something. The ceiling smelled like gun solvent or something like a new tennis ball. The processing clearly showed some deficiencies in the edge threads. It seems quite heavy but very thin and not very comfortable. Makes a good groundcover if you can get rid of the smell.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Great value rug (for emergencies)

Great rugs. Much cheaper than elsewhere, simple and do the job. This is wool that is a must have to prepare for emergencies. Please note that the thickness depends on the color. Just very easily. I have gray and navy blue. Blue is slightly thicker than gray. But both are great.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Thick fabric, great color and large size

I bought this blanket to make a warm robe because it's hard to find a robe that isn't skimpy and not out ( Hell!) Polyester fleece or microfiber. Fleece/microfiber is not breathable and for me it's like being wrapped up in a sauna. I don't have this problem with wool blends. This size was enough to sew a simple T-shaped, but roomy coat: two large rectangles and two smaller rectangles for the sleeves, and there was still enough left for a belt and a few needlework. Nice!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Speed
