They are actually so comfortable that I now use them as a regular belt instead of the leather belts I have. When trimming, it's best to cut from the side that attaches to the buckle as it's just a straight cut, and have your lighter ready to seal the end. I also used a lighter on the other end so the edges are less sharp and easier to thread through the buckle.
