Does not charge in radios

Do not buy because of the charging function. I bought one and it didn't work so I sent it back. A week later another one came - same problem, it won't charge. Did a quick search on the web and found this is well known and they still claim there are charges. I bought this for a charger, the radio was a bonus. waste of time.

Not good for personal radios

Radio reception is terrible and the audio output from the jack is pretty quiet even with the source volume set to maximum. I can't remove the stars due to lack of features knowing what I was buying but I really wish they would fix the radio reception issue and see the battery and preset stations always low. I would not buy again.

  • Slim design

Well built. Defective watch

I had the same issue others mentioned about the watch. I used new Duracell batteries instead of the stock ones. A track with new batteries. I'll contact Milwaukee because it's kind of a downside. I'm not upset about the clock function. Not a deal breaker for me. Bought to replace an old model. It's well built. I like the rubberized volume knob. There was no way to use it. One more thing, the older model is loaded with M12 and M18. Not with this model.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

M18 Site Radio - Personal Radios

Excellent workmanship. High performance tank radio with integrated M18 charger. But now. Radio reception was poor, at least in my location and with my device, on both AM and FM radio stations. I used another radio as a control and the reception was fine with it. If I had to assume that the reason for poor reception is a short antenna. I couldn't set the clock radio and even though the batteries were new, the display said the batteries needed replacing. I can live without a clock, but what good…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Happy with everything except the moment I put the battery in.

Satisfied with everything except that when I put the batteries in (two AAA) the watch only showed one bar on the batteries. All right, that's fine. On the 2nd day when I got to work the clock was off. I got some new batteries, opened the lid and a battery popped out because there is nothing on the back of the lid to hold the batteries and the lid has space for the batteries to pop out. A slight correction gives some shape to the back of the cover. So insert new batteries and a battery life bar…

Crap radio compared to its predecessor

This radio sucks, especially compared to previous Milwaukee radios I've had. Cons: Super poor reception even if the antenna's backup battery doesn't work - I've changed AAA many times. I even tried adjusting the contact points on the batteries but when I unplug the radio I lose all my presets, what's frustrating is the sound. meh would probably get a comparable sound from a normal branded radio. I believe they use Rockford Fosgate on their old radios. - Value for money is equal NOT WORTH THE…
