I bought two of these for our son who is due to be born any day. I went with yellow and blue-green. Both are very beautiful and bright. After washing, they kept their color and became soft and beautiful. The tag says dry clean only, but I washed it in cold water on a gentle cycle. Then dried without problems on low heat for about 15 minutes. Can't wait to wrap my baby in these, they are perfect for TN's Fall/Winter and Spring seasons.

I was very happy to receive this blanket for my newborn. I wanted to take him to the hospital. When it arrived it had a strange smell so I decided to wash it. Like all children's clothes, I washed them on a gentle cycle with baby detergent. After just one wash it became fluffy and balls of fluff accumulated. 2 corners also began to bloom. Mustard Not golden at all. I can't tell you enough that this is NOT yellow. It is a pea green soup color with a neon yellow tint. This is the strangest color I've ever seen. Not nice at all! I usually like different colors but this one is so hard on the eyes. Please look elsewhere for the mustard yellow blanket, you won't regret it. I bought 2 blankets I bought them for my Maltese puppy because he needs a small blanket that is nice but not too hot.
