This is not my definition of waterproof. Waterproof to me means it won't smudge, chip or peel. This mascara came off easily with light tears. The applicator brush is too big and can get on all eyelids. The mascara is light and easy to apply, but since it has a lighter formula it is more difficult to apply on top, you have to wait until it is completely dry and apply several layers. I bought this mascara because it's waterproof and gluten free. The problem is that the brush is so wobbly that it picks up mascara on a crooked design. It was hard not to carry too much. The rotation isn't very visible in the image, so I added another view. Shame about the mascara as it was able to cover the lashes nicely. This mascara is my daughter's favorite mascara as well as mine. Cliff is a beautiful brown color for blonde and brown hair and the way the mascara is applied makes it look very natural. If you want thicker lashes, just apply more mascara. Easily removed at the end of the day without pulling and leaving lashes healthy. The only negative is that at the end of the day you may have small spots under your eyes from where the mascara has worn off. Otherwise, this mascara wears and looks great!
