Does exactly what it is meant to do!

I am on my second Benfei Mini DisplayPort to VGA connector. I now have two monitors connected to my Surface Pro dock and they both work flawlessly! I decided on another Benfei product because the other worked well, and my other cable from a competitor only worked intermittently. Thank you Benfei for a quality product at a great price!

Good cable! - my new review

This cable allowed me to connect my Apple Mac book pro (or a PC), using a Thunderbolt connector, to output the video directly to a digital source, like a Projector, or in my case a large screen. It works perfectly and is plug and play meaning there are no settings to set. With this plug if you want the sound too you need an audio plug as well I used a mini headphone plug to my Bose speaker.

Works as advertised

My mac mini acts weird with HDMI connection to the monitor for some reason. Used this instead and it works flawlessly. If there is a picture quality difference between this and HDMI, I can't tell for the basic web surfing and video watching we do.

Works for Mackbook 2015!

I needed a cord to work with my 2015 Macbook air to connect to my Vankyo mini projector and it worked great! Doesn't connect the audio though. You would need a Bluetooth speaker for the, but overall works perfectly!

Works with Mac Air for my opinion

I decided to work with a big screen and this cable is what I needed to connect my 2014 Mac air to my 27" screen. Connection was easy and really easy to set up. Now I just need a wireless keyboard and I'm all set.

Had difficulty reading the small print on my surface. Attaching the monitor resolved the issues. Works great. That's my review!

Worked as advertised

For the price, the value of this cable is outstanding. I have it in a 3 monitor setup and the cables are all nicely tucked in together. Why does that matter to me? I didn't see any interference on the monitor that is using this cable and it also happens to be the furthest from the computer. That means it is near all kinds of potential interference just about the entire route from the computer. Excellent quality and I would certainly trust Benfei again for another cable in the future.

I got this to connect a second monitor (Dell) to the docking station for my Surface Pro 6. I have been using it for a few months with no issues. I will update this review if anything changes.

Be careful with compatibility

Be very careful when ordering. It advertises as compatible for MacBook airs when it is not. Not happy with this product.

Good Cable that worked!

I didn't know if my problem was with an old cable, the monitor or a laptop docking station. This is just a cable but it worked and fixed my problem. Also delivery was very fast.
