Minn Kota 1866670 Bluetooth i-Pilot Link Remote Holding Cradle: Enhanced Convenience and Safety in Boating Review

Used to remotely control my Minnkota trolling motor from the remote. I don't use a compatible Humminbird chartplotter to control the trolling motor functions, so this handy remote solves that problem.

Slightly expensive for what you get but it is a genuine Minn Kota part. It does exactly what it's supposed to, holds the remote very firmly. Don't plan on just sliding it in and out of the mount, it's very tight and will likely wear down the rubber boot around your remote. I attached it to the Lund Sport Trak unit with a quick release belt clip for placement when not around the neck.

First of all, this "cradle" is for (and ONLY for) the Minn Kota I-Pilot **LINK** remote control. If you have a Minn Kota engine with I-Pilot link then this bracket will fit. If your engine does NOT have the i-Pilot **Link** option, your remote control is NOT SUITABLE. The control panels for engines with link option have a rectangular shape. Motor brackets without the link option have rounded curved sides. I have no idea what the reviewer means by "newer bloodthirsty version". I have a brand new
