Minnetonka Mens Sole Moccasin Taupe Men's Shoes Review

Nice low shoes. They are stylish and very good to drive. I drive a manual transmission sports car (yes, I'm old-fashioned) so proper driving shoes are important not only for comfort but also for safety. They do their job and look amazing getting where I'm going. My only complaint is that they feel a bit loose on the sides, which is surprising as I have wide feet and usually have the opposite problem. I'm a size 11 and they fit the length but like I said, a little loose on the sides. But overall

I have had 4 pairs of Minnetonka moccasins since 2007. On this pair I had to add a hole where the leather tip comes out to the bow buckle. They are not of the quality I expected. Maybe it's the divorce. See how worn the shoe is. They were made in the country where Izod shirts have been made for decades: the Dominican Republic. ATTENTION: quality control.

Quality loafers made in the Dominican Republic. Good grip sole. However, the size is a bit off. I am a men's size 8 and my previous purchases of soft soled minnetonka moccasins have been a size 8 and they fit me perfectly. However, not this one. Size 8 fit well, but was too short, my big toe was on the front of the moccasin. I sent them back and ordered 8½. They're a little loose in width at the heel, but the length is just right. Added note - I wear these as slippers with no socks.

I bought Minnetonka Nub Sole men's moccasins as I assumed men's moccasins are wider than women's. It's not like this. These moccasins are very narrow. Because they were so tight I had to send the moccasins back as they couldn't be worn. The top of the insole of both shoes also had large wrinkles, apparently they were glued quickly and carelessly. I wear a size 11 on Nike, Sperry, Adidas and Vans but somehow their size 11 was too big. The sole of these shoes is literally the worst I've ever tried and it's only 3-4 steps from trying on and walking the carpet. It's too narrow and together with the soft bed I felt like I was walking on a marshmallow covered log and almost fell. Save time and money and simply buy a cheap pair of moccasins from Walmart or TJ Maxx.

These moccasins have replaced oversized moccasins. I called the exchange and told the agent how long the loafers were in inches. Instead of doing a little research to get me the right size, he simply told me to order the next smaller size. Of course, the replacement is still too big. So I have to make another exchange. I bought these to replace my old, very good, suede Minnetonka loafers that I buy every 15 years or so because i love TE . However, now that I have a baby I need to make sure I have something really slip-resistant and these Nub Sole moccasins DEFINITELY do the trick. As always, choose a size smaller than what you normally wear. Mainly because the skin stretches, but these sizes are just too big. I have bought them a few times over the years after 1 pair has worn out. I normally wear a size 10.5 so chose a size 10, very nervous about going down a whole size but now I really wish I had.
