Happy and Warm Husband

My husband is very happy and warm wearing this item. Good quality merino wool, dense, keeps its shape after washing. I can recommend this item and would happily buy it again.

Great base layer, suitable for an active base layer

I'm about 6ft 3in, 175lbs, all legs but these pants fit great and are long enough and stay on my waist . I've had others that always fall on their backs, making them annoying and uncomfortable. I wore them in Vail, Colorado. With a pair of waterproof shells they were warm enough at around 20-35 degrees (F) and down to 9 degrees (F) with an extra mid layer. Now I'm a big fan of merino wool!

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • Not the best

warm and comfortable: Active

A very comfortable pair of long underwear. An excellent weapon against the cold of the northern winter. I love the fact that they offer men's plus sizes and they are quite large. The waistband is too thick for my liking and I find the waistband of the pants a little high for comfort, but when I fold the waistband over me they are perfectly comfortable. I wish they weren't made in China but they are.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

My favorite piece of clothing!

Great product. I'm 6ft, 153 with long limbs. These fit PERFECTLY. I took them to Tahoe and wore them for a week straight. No smell, no stretching, no holes, no problems at all. On a trip I wore waffle cotton thermal underwear over this Minus 33. After the snowball game the cotton thermal underwear got wet and frozen. Nothing penetrated the wool of the 33s. You are so good. LOVE THEM AND GET FOUR PACKS! Get them while you can.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad

Ideal if you're tall and thin

Ideal if you're tall and thin. Most mid-waisted wool base layers are too short. It's so nice to find a company that sells high waist sizes. Delivery was fast, goods well packaged. Can't comment on durability yet as I've only used them 3 times, but these wool underlayers tend to last well for many seasons. I mainly use it for skiing under shell pants and under shorts for trail running in winter. The weight is ideal for skiing and running. It can be too hot if you work above 40 F.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Excellent value for money and quality; Great Achievement

I wore this all last winter. I like a few things about it: - Merino wool is absolutely non-itchy. - She sits well. While there are MANY competitors offering similar products, to my knowledge Minus33 is one of the few that offer large sizes. - Unexpected benefits - wool actually appears to have antibacterial properties. I have found that I can wear it 24/7 for a week without it smelling bad. Machine washable! I just turned it inside out, put it in the washing machine with wool detergent and it…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
