Lightweight sweater made from premium natural merino wool

I bought this for my 21 year old son. He loves to. It's lightweight (thin), but being merino wool, it's neither too hot nor too cool. Feels more like cotton. Very high-quality workmanship, retains shape and color after numerous washes. He wears it almost every day. It was a great purchase.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great base or mid layer for active people.

Very comfortable merino wool in a well tailored sweatshirt with added back protection, plus a double layered sweatshirt for extra warmth on the bob. Love the thumb holes and the extra sleeve length for donning extra layers of clothing and gloves. I ordered this in an extra large size for my layered camping and backpacking setup, it's an essential part of my gear.

Pros
  • Very Fast Delivery
Cons
  • Great Price

but no better (warmer) than a cheaper sweatshirt

Overpriced and not warm enough, I had high hopes for this product but no better (warmer) than a cheaper sweatshirt: it's merino wool but so thin it doesn't keep you warm Look at the picture, it's so thin it's translucent! This shouldn't be called midweight, it's a lightweight garment at best, and for the price ($111) I feel like someone has passed me for a $100 win for a $11 shirt. Not recommended at all.

My favorite all-temp sweatshirt and blends well

I've had this hooded sweatshirt for 3 years now and it quickly became my go-to for almost every situation in the fall and spring Wisconsin plus was a great underlayer (among many other layers) on a winter hike 28° down. There's a wide range of temperatures to choose from if it feels right and I love the hood too. I should also mention that I walk on the cold side. The sweatshirt is thin but very warm for some reason.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unreliable

Excellent sweatshirt. for men

This sweatshirt is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight but adds a lot of warmth without making you feel hot. Merino wool is very soft and doesn't scratch. It's just as easy to pack. I'm not a tall person so I like the slim fit and it works well under other clothing. The hood fits perfectly with two stitches - one on each side instead of one on top. This allows it to fit under a helmet (bike, ski, motorcycle, construction). I use this for everything. Quite expensive but seems worth it.

Just what I needed: Active

I'm a world nomad. I sometimes stay in bnbs without heating. I ordered an extra large version of this so I can wear it over my Nanopuff while cooking to protect the Nanopuff from the heat and hot oil. I have found myself wearing it every day. I go from a cold morning with a hooded zip to a hot afternoon. When I get hot, the sweatshirt becomes thin enough that I can tie the sleeves around my neck and wear it as a cloak, ready to pull on to church. The wool is soft and doesn't rub at all on the…

Multifunctional Outdoor Comfort

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. It has almost all the best qualities of the perfect mid-weight wool for outdoors and outdoor activities: it has a full front zip, it's long enough to keep you covered on the bike too. It has THREE zipped pockets (although the chest pocket is small). It has oversized sleeves with thumbholes that can be worn like regular sleeves or extended to keep your hands warm. Sleeves with thumb holes are also convenient to wear under the outer shell
