Excellent quality, suitable for outdoor recreation

Large size, high quality materials, very comfortable, non-itching wool maintains a comfortable body temperature. Love it.

Great option! for men

I bought this as a Christmas present for my dad. He's always cold at home and this vest is warm and stylish. Fits as described. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in white

Slim and not comfortable when camping

I was looking for a replacement for my husband's thick wool Capricorn vest. This vest has a much thinner fabric, no pimples and no large internal pockets. A little disappointing but not enough to return. It could work for spring and fall.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • I'll add later

Cool-weather quality

Comfortable material that I like to wear. I bought this to use with my son at winter scout events. A little lighter than I expected but I still get a lot of use out of it. It's fine for cold weather, but when it gets really cold I'll need more.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Useless features

Very versatile piece of equipment

Very warm and comfortable, ideal as a mid or outer layer to keep your body warm. I haven't had the weather to try it out but I think it can be worn on its own. I like how the collar closes the neck when buttoned up and the zipper doesn't rub on the skin due to the fabric flap and the many pockets

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Collar lining

I was disappointed with this product because of the price and the Minu533 tape writing on the inseam of the zipper around the collar and lapels. I was about to return it but my wife said it looked good on me buttoned up despite the collar legend. Even if the picture may have deceived me. I was looking for a Sherpa lined wool vest to replace my old Woolrich vest. Since my return period has expired, I will be hanging it in my labeled closet for my wife to donate to charity after I die.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Nothing

Warm but not sweaty, stretches a little.

I really like this vest. It's a lot thinner than I thought and I was a bit apprehensive at first but after a week of wearing I really like it. I use it as a mid layer under my coat and it really makes a difference as my current coat is a bit thin for the cold. I don't want to alternate large coats with frosty mornings and warm afternoons throughout the day, so best to just choose a coat and vest from both. much to talk about just some information.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Perfect fit for what I wanted

I struggled to find a wool vest but it was worth it. The size is perfect for me. Merino wool fabric is thin, lightweight, and has a slight stretch. You can see it in the photos but the pockets are zipped. The full-length zip is actually protected by a heat-retaining material. It's longer than a regular vest (as pictured) which I think is great for covering the waist but not so long that it's a problem to sit on. Perfect for what I wanted: something to wear around the house and also wear outside

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some issues
