Couldn't use it. The external thread was "dirty" and my shower head could not be screwed onto it. Tried 3 different shower heads! I didn't send it back it was only $6 or so and not worth the hassle but poorly done. don't waste money.

My shower head was only aimed at the glass door and I couldn't get it off the door. This thing added the extra angle I needed to point the shower head away from the door. I started getting water in the basement because the old way corroded the silicone around the door as the water kept hitting it. This completely solved my problem.

No matter how many times I've tried, no matter how much Teflon tape I've used, no matter what combination of shims I've used in the kit, it ALWAYS leaks. If you don't use the washers that came with it, it will leak. If you use the included washers, the washers will get stuck in the pipe you attach this waste adapter to and guess what, it's leaking! I'm throwing this piece of junk away and going to Home Depot to find something that works.
