MSCASSADPT Dual Position Mobile Spec Cassette Adapter Review

When I first used this with a car tape player, the turntable kept ejecting the adapter. The solution is to open the adapter (it just needs to be unscrewed) and take out the gear with a rubber O-ring. There are YouTube videos explaining this, just search for something like "How to fix a cassette adapter that keeps ejecting". After that everything worked fine. Noise as the gears in the adapter are constantly turning. For me it wasn't loud enough to be a problem.

Makes a terrible mechanical noise in the cassette deck that even the cheaper tape recorder I bought at the dollar store didn't make. WASTE OF MONEY! FULL PRICE! I'll try Maxell and then I'll give up. I love this simple device for listening to music from my phone through car speakers. just press hard. The adapter has a small tab that you can twist to adjust the cable for a front or side loading deck. The cord is a little short and coiled - may not fit some, but it's long enough to reach my phone on the dash (about 12 inches). The sound is excellent - no interference or noise. My reason for (re)purchasing this particular product was a twisted cable. Either inattentive execution, or exchange, they sent me the wrong device. The device will be returned until the correct model is provided.
