🚿 Moen Engage Magnetix 6-Function 5.5-Inch Handheld Showerhead with Magnetic Docking System in Oil Rubbed Bronze Review

I'm a big fan of MOEN lights and have been for a long time. This shower head isn't cheap, but it's made in the USA and looks 100% genuine. It offers 6 different jet types and is very light for its size. The magnetic mount works great. I can't imagine improving this product.

Only buy 3662EP if you live in California. That's almost $95 more than the Moen 26112. The only difference is the additional water limit required by the CA (1.75 GPM vs. 2.00 GPM). After you remove the water restrictors, they remain the same. I will post a photo of the 4 pieces of plastic that I removed with a hand drill.

This is what I need for my custom dual shower head design. New magnet. However, it can be knocked down with a sharp wave of the hand. It's also heavier than any handheld showerhead I've ever used. You need a stable shower head for this. The pressure isn't impressive so I removed the plastic disk at the base of the PDA that restricts flow and now it's MUCH better. Even with two souls at the same time.

I chose this light primarily because it had the finish I wanted; However, after reading other people's reviews and now using this device, we have completely fallen in love with the magnetic docking station. As many have noticed the shower head is plastic. I looked everywhere for a metal shower head before deciding I needed to raise the price significantly. I was willing to pay for both the equipment and professional installation and boarding. I bought the shower head and bracket combo because it was cheaper than just the shower head. Due to my arthritis and the pain of putting the shower head back into the holder I bought two of these - on the advice of a plumber. What a great purchase! No more reaching to put the showerhead back on the handle/carrying bag (?) or whatever you call it. The strength of the magnet is great, it just snaps into place. No more fiddling when water gets in your face :) Also, the shower head has a button on the front that you simply press to change jet functions. I found it overpriced but worth it…

For a $250 showerhead, you can expect a little more. Good massage jet, better water jets etc... This product offered none of those things. Even with the flow restrictor removed, the water from the showerhead flows poorly at best. Five weak flow models. A very weak design - if it's a metal, then they put it at the molecular level. We love this shower head. The magnet function works as expected. Not too strong, not too weak. We've removed restrictions that ensure you have satisfactory/reasonable blood pressure. We were very frustrated with the pressure/vacuum circuit prior to removing the internal flow restrictor. I love that the hose is metal as you won't find it anymore, but I wish the HW nozzle was metal too. I connected the hardware that attaches the shower to the plumbing with a wrench.
