The lid doesn't stay in place at all, defeating the purpose of closing it. The instructions don't match the paragraph (seriously, where the heck do I "align" things?) I had to go blind. Overall it does the main job I wanted which was to protect the pen when not in use, but I still have to be very careful with it not to lose the pen cap. It seems strong enough to withstand a fall, but I haven't tested that theory yet. I don't even use the lid that came with the lid because it doesn't hold up…

Works perfectly! It's a bit thick to fit in any Apple Pencil holder built into a case or similar. But I love it, it's my annoyance thinking about what fits in my big hand when I'm working. The little magnet to hold the cap doesn't work at all, but I charge the pencil through my iPad so I still can't keep it on.

It was a little inconvenient to put the pen in the case as there is a rubber o-ring inside the case which prevents the pen from slipping as instructed. I had to remove the O-ring but then the pin moved in the case. When I replaced the o-ring and tried to rotate the pencil, part of the o-ring fell out. It took me 10-15 tries to get the pencil in (note I have a first generation pencil that fits this case) while keeping the o-ring in place. But once installed, this case works as it says. It's a…

I like this product! Just arrived with a small cosmetic tear on the part that snaps into place. I was only given the opportunity to return, which I don't want. I don't mind cracking too much, but a little annoying. Cheap plastic but overall I like it. It holds the pencil securely and I can attach it to the places that matter most to me. Fits comfortably in your hand!

I bought this because I draw a lot on my iPad and I usually use pencil cases when I draw the traditional way. I like that the lid is securely fastened inside. I don't like that, to charge the pen now you have to watch out for two loose caps. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider. I keep a small plate next to the charging station to hold the caps while I charge the pencil.
