A character is just a unit of information. It does not necessarily mean that the unit will be a letter. Number of Characters: 16. 2 Line(s) - 8 Characters per Line - Charcoal Gray. Prints 16 characters, 8 per line using a patented no-mess inking system. Holds larger label rolls and is easy to reload for increased productivity. Includes preloaded ink roller and label roll. Maximum character height on the top line is 3mm, and the bottom is 5mm.

Quality pistol, spend more money on Monarch.

Good quality label gun. Over the years we have purchased several labeling guns. Our sales team doesn't spare them, so we tried to save some money with cheaper brands. Break cheaper, you get what you pay for. Due to the difference in price between them and others, I highly recommend spending the extra cash on the Monarch. We have a few old Monarchs that still work after some of the cheaper brands broke. Save money in the long run and get this pistol.

They work well if you don't get used to them.

If you're looking for a prize gun that can craft dozens of items a day, this is a good device. If you're looking for a gun that can sell a hundred or more items a day, I recommend looking elsewhere. The first one I bought lasted about 18 months while the other two Avery Dennison counterparts continued to work. The problem is that the number rotation selector starts to loosen as the strips on which the numbers are written stretch with age and small teeth can no longer grip and rotate the strips.

They are great for retail pricing

These types of pistols have worked well for me since I was in school when I worked in a large store fifteen years ago. The price tags are very legible and we had no problems with these guns. Actually it was the second one we bought for our store. This is for labels only, so we don't need to change the sticker roll. The change in price tags is the only downside to this gun, which is why I'm not giving it five stars. This can be difficult to accomplish and slows down our staff when they need toโ€ฆ
