Very dry crunch with little to no flavor. A powdery finish that doesn't get creamy. I would like it better if it was something more. If you like clean, pure chalk, this would be a good option with a larger portion. Very soft powder to the touch.

Ordered 2 years ago, was good for PICA cravings. I recently ordered it and it has an organic solvent taste and smell that masks the taste and smell of natural chalk. Maybe not healthy. Please don't waste your money! I drop the rest. The only good thing is I don't want any more chalk. That unpleasant taste will stay with me forever.

So this is a very strange product. It arrived in a shady pouch with only a handwritten label. You really have no guarantee that someone hasn't packed it in their basement/or garage. I would not use this product. It is insecure and cannot be verified or certified.

Ordered for my friend who loves chalk. It came in one big chunk, pure white, and smelled exactly as it was described: fresh rain, paper in your favorite book, and a faint smell of concrete. It wasn't too difficult to break it up into smaller pieces to enjoy. I tried a piece and it was really delicious. SO glad I bought this just out of curiosity. I NEVER ate it and thank god I didn't. It came in a paper bag labeled in a different language (which is good, it's monastic anyway), that wasn't a problem. The problem was brown spots that formed and continue to form. I would categorically avoid consuming this product or any other chalky product as it can damage your gut and has no nutritional value meaning your body doesn't know how to break it down.
