Type of review

Connected to Asus Vivibook, stereo headphones plugged into adapter and adapter in headphone jack. The volume was significantly reduced compared to the volume of headphones connected directly to the laptop. Probably because both channels are shorted to the same mono output. It probably isn't good for laptop output hardware either. Both channels were only (barely) audible in the left channel. No sound in the right earbud.

Temporary: Accessories and consumables

I bought this as a return from Revain warehouse at a reduced price. I have an adapter of the same type from another brand (nickel plated for Koss SPZ9 headphones) that works fine. I needed a second one and bought this one. When I first used it I couldn't hear anything until I started shaking the headphone jack. I found it impossible to just plug in the adapter and hear the audio. Just to confirm it was the adapter, I tried my original adapter and it works fine, so the problem is definitely with

Exactly what I needed. (Vehicles not listed.)

As a hobby I record/copy vinyl records and often record them as videos. I had an issue from the start with the Realtek mic jack, which only picked up the left channel. If I tried to record in stereo, it would only record the left channel and miss the details of the right channel. (eg the "GALILEO" part of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen) That solves the problem! It mixes both channels in mono so I can record them and catch almost every detail. Very helpful if you me. I say try! The price can be…
