My 16 month old usually wears 12-18 month old babies from brands like Baby Gap and H&M comfortably. He's a little kid for his age. We received the vest in size 18-24 months and before washing it seemed to be too big, but after washing it has shrunk and is almost snug on the stomach. The length was a little longer, but that's not so important. The rest of the material feels comfortable and retains heat.

This vest is so good for our son. We put him to sleep at night for extra warmth as he doesn't know how to use blankets yet. I love that there are no zippers so nothing weighs him down while he sleeps. The vest is made out of two layers with some padding in between for extra warmth but not too much. It also holds up well to washing/drying as we use and wash it all the time. We have several of these vests and larger sizes when he grows up. Good product!

I love these vests! Aside from claiming it's organic (because it probably isn't), it's super handy to have on hand during spring, fall, and winter. It is lightly lined so my daughter is warm in it. Since she lies on her stomach most of the time, this keeps her warm, which is very important for health in Chinese culture.
