These are fairly thin cotton masks with a thin, sheer cotton lining - no hole for another filter pad. I really liked the side elastic adjustable straps with small soft rubber inserts on the sides so the mask can be made larger or smaller simply by sliding the elastic closer or further away from the mask.

Love the adjustable ear and nose straps. The fabric is thin enough to breathe comfortably while still providing protection. An added benefit is the white color on the inside so you can see when it needs cleaning. Perfect for my 5 and 7 year old girls. The only problem is that the metal nose clip breaks easily and starts tearing through the fabric. The price is too high, the quality should be better. Now I buy more masks in just 2 weeks.

My older children currently go to elementary school twice a week. Masks are compulsory. They have worn these masks twice all day this week without complaint. Aged 6 and 9, both said the masks were comfortable enough to wear all day. When I picked her up after school, I couldn't find any irritation around her ears or face.
