    Great design except for the exploding spring

    I have two of these. One lasts for years, works surprisingly well, goes with everything, and is very comfortable. The other one had some sort of malfunction where the internal springs burst and now it doesn't work. I probably wouldn't buy it again - otherwise it's a great design. Too bad both survived.

    Good. Broke after 4 years.

    I used this regularly on my Motorola Droid Turbo and later on my Pixel 1 phone. The second time it broke and the spring no longer tightens the levers. It appears the spring was held by a piece of plastic which is now gone. I liked the device, it served 4.5 years.

    Nice unit for Droid Turbo!

    This is the third device I have bought for different cars. This is a great stand for Droid Turbo. allows one-handed placement and recovery. The only weak point is the neck closure, which is rather weak for the construction, but I haven't had any problems in this area for several years. Also the suction cup doesn't provide enough suction power, the phone has been dropped several times. Included. Best droid turbo stand I've bought

    Inaccessible fingerprint reader

    Good solid mid-range bracket. It holds my Pixel 4a securely with the Encase brand phone case. The only complaint is that the fingerprint scanner isn't available when the phone is in the cradle. Because the mount is specifically designed for the Pixel 4a, it's "case-friendly", i. H. In order to hold the phone in the case, it must have a cutout or hole that allows access to the fingerprint reader while it is in the holder.

    I almost gave 5 stars just because the window dock is so good for its money. I installed it on my race car (which has INCREDIBLY stiff suspension) and didn't notice any movement or vibration in the pickup. There was no sense that he was about to fall out of the window. The only awkward issue with my Droid Turbo XT1254 is that when the side pull-out bracket faces outward, the phone snaps into a position where one of the clips presses against the volume button no matter how you raise or lower it.

    So the phone sticks out further from the windshield than we'd like. It would be great if they had it.

    I bought this for my Droid Turbo II. It sticks well to my car's windshield. I cleaned the spot where I installed it and wet the suction cup a little. It was attached to my windshield for four months and never came off. It appears to be made out of durable nylon rather than cheap hard plastic. It holds the phone well, and the phone can be put in and taken out with one hand, two hands are more convenient to use, but it doesn't matter anyway.
