Get your utility knife out to make it work

I was fortunate to start out with radios that had one good battery and one that didn't hold a charge. I put a new battery in the radio, nothing. It appears to be charging but the radio has no power. After 30 minutes of fiddling and measuring, I found that the shrink wrap insulation was too close to the negative terminal to make contact. The positive pole didn't look open enough either. A little trimming and everything works. Five stars for fast shipping and the battery I needed, 1 star because…
