I used this in my work radio and was getting almost no radio traffic and my traffic was mostly unreadable. It's not worth it.

The reception on this antenna is bad - it starts badly. I toggled back and forth to make sure the antenna was the problem. Not sure what others are using

This works but does not have the range needed to penetrate buildings. If your radio needs wear and tear, consider alternative products.

This is a genuine Motorola antenna built to withstand the rigors of everyday work environments. I use them on my Astro XTS5000, XTS3000 radios.

I immediately noticed that this is not a very good product. Buildings where I've had no problems with a conventional antenna before having serious problems with this one. It's not worth it. Certainly a security issue
