🔩 RAM Mounts Ball Adapter with 1/4" - 20" Female Threaded Hole and Hex Post RAM-B-337U featuring B Size 1" Ball Review

RAM ball mount is good, but it would be better if the RAM mounts included a screw or bolt.? Would happily pay the extra 20 cents for the included screw and washer and it would save a trip to the hardware store.

This ball should be 1 inch in diameter, it's only .970 inch in diameter. My Garmin zumo xt has a 1 inch ball. So when I try to tighten my mount, it doesn't fit the end of the mount as well as it does the end of the GPS. This causes the GPS to lose position when I'm driving on the road.

Aluminum is soft and scratches easily, and both of my had a molded plastic that I had to scrape off that damaged the soft aluminum. They are produced cheaply and sold at too high a price. But they work and solve many installation problems.

The thread wasn't 1/4-20 I suspect it was metric, like 6mm since neither 1/4-20 nor 1/4-28 would screw in with the one thread required for use I was able to insert a 1/4-20 tap and didn't use it perfectly.I got lucky with the frame mount but got something mispackaged, the other buyer had a similar review

I was very pleased and was thinking of buying a mount for my mtn. bike if it worked well. rehearsal not, the wireless charger sticks to the phone case - it won't twist to remove no matter how much pressure is applied. I emailed the company to see if they can help - if they can I'll go back and change my review, otherwise I'll come back for a refund.

Not at all what I ordered. The only thing that was correct was that it was a ball with a diameter of 25 mm. The base is different, it has been sealed but appears to have been used before. There's even what looks like tire marks from someone tightening it. It's also not a 1/4 20 thread, it's a 10-28. Instead of waiting for it to be returned and get a replacement part, I'll just clean it up and make it work. But overall I'm not satisfied.
