Great design. not working

This is a great design and I was looking forward to using it but it doesn't work. Not only does my GPS keep tipping over due to bike vibrations, the GPS even slips out of its mount during hard impacts. I use this on my road bike on paved roads, it doesn't like flare marks. There design is better.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • neutral

Well made but useless

The strap that connects the mount to the handlebar is good, durable and easy to use. The bridge connection to the GPS sits well on it and can be secured with a cable tie. However, there is no tensioner at the GPS end of the axle. The ball is unsteady and my Garmin Oregon GPS keeps tipping over when I hit even a small bump in the road. If there was a tensioner at the end of the GPS, that would make a very good mount. Unfortunately, this doesn't make sense for a heavier GPS like the Oregon.

The phone catches your attention. - Car Mounts

This is just to let everyone know before you buy. I'm sending mine back because it fits the phone very well without the case. Every time I drive I have to remove the protective case from my phone. This holder is not adjustable at all. So if you don't mind removing the case every time you use the holder, then this is a good holder. I myself ride at least once a day and find it inconvenient to remove the cover every time I want to ride my bike. Also, there is no protection for the phone, which I…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
