Great features like hidden zip pockets, buttoned flap pockets, rolled up sleeves, double collar for full neck protection, sunglass holder; good ventilation and comfortable weaving. This is a higher quality shirt than the Columbia Silver Ridge shirt, but I think Silver Ridge is better. However, this shirt has a more sophisticated look. If you can get it for a modest price, it will last a long time and is great for hiking and travelling.

The material and workmanship appears to be very good. The fabric is lightweight and breathable (and not too shiny like some synthetics). The design is functional and I love the style. The only criticism that keeps me from buying a few more pairs is that they are a bit tight in the chest. Otherwise, the fit is as expected for a plus size, and all other aspects of sizing are good, including shoulder width (I'm 6ft 2in, average build). I'm not sure if I received the wrong shirt size or if Mountain Hardwear has a different sizing standard. Maybe it's an extra slim fit. I could just about put my hands up my sleeves, but I was immediately trapped. I felt if I moved I risked tearing my shirt. Maybe it's the shirt, maybe it's me. Wear this shirt on a 4 hour hike in the mid 90's and actually feel cooler than a t-shirt. The fabric is cool to the touch, dries quickly and the collar stands out far enough to protect your neck. I will definitely buy more of these. me.

Appears to be well made although it is made in Vietnam and not the USA as some of the reviews I have read online would suggest. Just roll up your sleeves. It has an interesting double collar design that looks good and prevents the collar from snagging, especially when the fabric is damp. The fit was exactly as I expected; I wear medium sized t-shirts and the medium size fits me. This is a slightly "sportier" cut, smaller than LL Bean, Cabelas etc but similar to other "outdoor" brands.

This shirt is not very breathable! I don't sweat much and had to take this shirt off and put on a cotton shirt twice while outside in the sun. Why? It just doesn't breathe well and doesn't absorb moisture. I was in a high, low-humidity desert west of the mountain at a temperature of about 80 degrees in the sun. This shirt kept the moisture on my skin. It was sticky and disgusting. Went back to a medium weight cotton shirt and all was fine. I love the fit, I love the style, I love the color. But

This is the second shirt I've tried on from Montain Hardwear. The first shirt I ordered was size XL and when I put it on I felt like I was trying on a children's shirt. So I changed it back to size XXL and now I feel like a kid in an adult shirt. The arms are so long that you have to constantly roll up your sleeves.
