After I put it to the test during a light rain, these pants failed to keep my son dry. The seams were leaking and the pants were damp within minutes. The only positive was the packable design for easy storage. However, the poor quality and lack of waterproof capabilities make these pants a waste of money.

Great for travel, folds up very compact and protects my pants from lots of rain and mud when we're out with the Quad on the road were our vacation time. Great value for the product, some rain does seep through the pocket holes so I wouldn't keep valuables like my phone in a side pocket of my pants. Although I'm an adult I'm quite petite about 5'2" and I bought according to the size chart, ended up buying a size 11-12 which fits me perfectly!

I wanted a very light waterproof pant for my twins. We travel with backpacks and know the equipment. We haven't tried them in the rain but they look good and fit as expected. They work well as a windbreaker. One thing I don't think they mention in the description is that they come with cloth pouches. Less than a tennis ball.
