Good pole for shoes

Perfect pole for my needs. I use this to install a light, equalizer and microphone on my mirrorless camera. Its design allows you to distribute the weight of your accessories so that the camera looks balanced and not crooked (it's especially useful when using a gimbal). The build quality is excellent.

To stay updated. Not suitable for all cold/hot shoe mounts.

Looks good but does not fit all hot shoe mounts. Tolerances on shoes seem to be very specific. I bought this to mount on my DJI Ronin SC and it didn't fit the included cold shoe mount that came with the gimbal. So I didn't use it. I'm sure I can put it down a bit, I just haven't gotten to it yet. Will update if/if I can use it.

Not bad. Good durable materials.

Wish it was a little longer. The Tascam DR-5 and Rode Mic are crowded and heavy on my Lumix. I've seen many users complain that this causes assembled items to look wrong. That's what I thought too at first when I got it. I think it's mainly due to the way it is shown in the product photos. I was a little annoyed. But then I realized that you can just rotate the beam so that it faces forward. The problem is solved, I hope others will understand.
