🏕️ Lightweight Backpacking Tent for 3 People: MSR Elixir Review

It's usually hard to give a product 5 stars but this tent deserves it, it's easy to set up, it's light and compact, it was strong on my last night Withstood rain, the tent stayed dry all the time, and even when the temperature dropped to 30* at night, it was still 5* warmer inside the tent, I would recommend this tent to everyone.

There is not much difference between the 2018 model and the previous version. The glow-in-the-dark zipper pull and red doors are nice touches, though. Otherwise this tent is just perfect. I have used this tent in high winds, heavy rain and hot days; That's great. The rain cover covers the tent well, the wind just blows so hard you don't even realize how windy it is and the mesh keeps you cool.

We love this tent! Enough that when a rainfly burst on our first tent after a few weeks of direct sun and rain, we bought another MSR Elixir 3 tent to replace it. We camped there all day through a tropical storm and incessant rain and we were dry and comfortable. It's well ventilated for hot weather and has little condensation at 50F.
