Not big enough for AT2020

Although advertised as fitting AT2020, the two I ordered were 1/4+ shorter even after some tugging and tugging. It is enough to open the bottom to make the windshield or pop filter ineffective. I went back to the cheap freebie that came with my mic holder. The quality seems to be normal - nothing special, but not bad. It didn't crack or rip when tightened like another cheap windshield did.

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Almost never

Perfect fit for Samson G Track Pro Microphone

Based on other reviews that it fits G Track Pro I chose it. I'm glad I did. This is a very tight fit. Just be patient and rock it gently. I'm surprised at how resilient the foam is. I was sure it would break if I pressed it against the base of the microphone. The packaging creates a small dent in the foam, but this will disappear over time. I wish there were two foams in the kit instead of one. As long as I like it

Great for AKG 220 mic

I asked if anyone tried this AKG 220 mic and didn't get a response in time so due to other photos and sizes I went in anyway. my microphone. This one fits perfectly and I've uploaded my photos to help other buyers. This one was hard to find due to its size, so I'm counting on extra help for anyone looking. I'll try it out soon and update if needed, but so far the size seems to be the biggest issue for them.

A cheap, delicate and thin piece of foam for your expensive equipment.

I hate writing bad reviews but this is a cheap, flimsy and fragile piece of foam for your microphone. It can meet your needs. In trying to fit it to the mic very carefully, I harvested a piece of this very thin, delicate, fragile foam and from what I'm seeing in the reviews I'm not the only one. And yes, I've already said that this is a very cheap, delicate, and thin piece of foam. My proposition. Look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No insurance

Great value for the Blue Yeti!

Good windbreak for the price, fits the Blue Yeti Pro without too much trouble. With each hand, place two fingers on the windshield and gently pull them away from each other, like you're stretching a sock. movements around the microphone. This is the best way to attach a windshield without tearing it.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Line is shorter than other models

Not big enough for At2035

When I bought my AT2035 I used a cheap pop screen that fell off over time and had to be constantly readjusted. So I decided to buy a windshield. When I saw it was for "big" mics I thought it would be perfect for mine, but it isn't as it's a bit closer to the base of the mic that doesn't cover. I thought I might have misplaced it, but putting it on the mic a few times got the same results. There's a better windshield than this, but it's not the worst.

Fits the Samson G Track Pro like a glove

What can I say? This foam windshield fits the Samson G Track Pro like a glove. The quality is good, not super thick but not thin like others I've used. That's professional quality in my opinion. The large mudder foam windscreen is packaged in a bubble bag and slides neatly and completely over the G Track Pro's mic section with two hands. With so many questionable reviews on so many products, I feel the need to share photos with words. So you can see for yourself that the Mudder Large Foam Mic…

Fits Samson C01U but works fine.

I did some sound testing on the windshield to see how effective it is. I ran tests in Audacity, a free audio editing and recording software, and tested the sound with and without the windscreen. The top rail is entry WITHOUT a windshield and the bottom rail is entry WITH a windshield. I spoke into the microphone and performed several breath tests at close range (10 inches with 45% audio gain) and at far range (2 feet with 80% audio gain). As you can see in the spectrogram (3rd photo), at the…
