We use these on our little man and they are effective and don't tear. We throw it in the trash, not the composter, because I'm not sure you can compost it in the backyard. Not sure if they are better for the environment or not as the packaging is inevitably plastic. I think if we really wanted to be 100% zero waste we would reuse rags, but some amenities are hard to overlook. So we use them and hope they break down faster in the landfill than other wipes.

I agree with others that they are a bit difficult to take out of the packaging. I solved it, as did the other reviewer, by deleting what I wanted before beginning the cleanup process. I also held the lower leaves in place with my thumb as I pulled out the one I wanted, tucked the inflated portion back in and replaced the sticky valve. I use these wipes at this time of the month or after going to the toilet. I like that this product does not upset the PH balance. no scent I like that it clearly describes what ingredients were used and why they were used. The napkin becomes very thin and will break if overstretched. The only reason I took off a star (4 out of 5) is because the doilies don't overlap properly.
