Munchkin Nursery Fresh Diaper Refill Review

I've been using them for a while. Every diaper that comes in Diaper Genie needs half a refill! I try to take out the excess after each diaper (and believe me it's stinky and gross) but it never really helps. By the time I empty the Diaper Genie there is already so much excess stuffing in there that it just doesn't worth making it any worse!

As a bargain shopper, I chose this brand to save a few bucks where I could. As with cucumbers, there are some things you shouldn't skimp on. Not only did the pouches not fit in the Genie diaper (bought new in 2013), but the pouch itself popped out of the bin with every use. ; hardly hold on. Also, there seemed to be almost no odor protection, and the acidic diaper smell went beyond the trash can and spread throughout the room.

I bought one of these singles instead of the multi pack because I was concerned it wouldn't fit the new Genie 2 elite. From what has been said and done I would say it mostly fits. The top doesn't quite close on these refills. The canister is slightly higher and lifts the lid about 1cm, which is not a problem in our current diaper changing phase as our son is not yet eating solid food.
